A Spooky Saturday!!

I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years now and after that time you kinda stop exploring so i love it when friends come over from Perth and we get to discover new things around town.

Saturday morning we went off to hanging rock, its absolutely beautiful out there and a little bit spooky!! Its full of information and some interactive stuff for kids as well, throw in a walk to the summit and you'll get some amazing photos as well!! There are places to BBQ as well and a gift shop and cafe'. Its $10 per car to exit, more if you have a van or bus. http://www.hangingrock.info/ We also met some llama's that were being taken for a walk, (pics to come)

That night we went off to the Haunted Bookshop Ghost tour  ( http://www.haunted.com.au/ ) which went for about 2 hours wandering around Melbourne, no ghosts were seen by our group but apparently if your lucky they'll come out. Even if your a sceptic, its a great way to learn about the history of Melbourne, I really enjoyed and it was refreshing to see that the guide really knew his stuff when it came to the history of Melbourne, he also had a great if not slightly kooky sense of humour.

It was a great weekend had by all!!
